Sydnie's Birthday Surprise
One of our birthday traditions is to fill the the kids room up with balloons, so when they wake up the are covered in balloons. This is the first year we did it for Sydnie. She was very surprised and after the initial shock of being covered in balloons she went crazy with the balloons.

Play Ball!!!
Baseball season has begun here in CdA.
Lance is on the Red Sox t-ball team this year and Rob is the team coach.
Saturday was Opening Day Ceramonies. Lance participated in the Opening ceramonies and a Hit-a-Thon with his team. His longest hit was 74 ft. Good job Lance!
Rob helped Lance get set up for his hits.
He was having a hard time getting back in the to the swing of things.
He still hasn't figured out if he is more comfortable hitting left or right.

Syd Loves Underwear!
Last night I was busy cleaning up dinner and realized I hadn't heard from Sydnie in a while. I turned the corner to go upstairs and here is what I found:
For some strange reason Sydnie is fascinated with Lance's underwear. She regularly puts on one pair and wears them around the house.
Never has she put on 11 pairs before.
I laughed so hard as I was taking them off and counting them. I am not quite sure how she accomplished such and amazing feat, with both legs in all the leg holes too! I am not sure Lance's underwear will ever be the same.
She is such a little pill, she really cracks us up.

When Grammy and Papa Come to Town...
We make Pizza.
We take naps.
After much anticipation, Grammy and Papa arrived last Thur. from California. Sydnie asked me "Grammy, Papa coming tonight?", about 10 times a day for a week prior to their arrival. We were all so glad they took some time off to visit. The kids couldn't get enough of them while they were here. We had a blast, going to the movies, shopping, eating - a lot, going to the Childrens Museum, playing games, reading books, and making Pizza. We wish they could come more often.

Winter or Spring?
I had to laugh when I looked out the window and saw Abby playing out back with our neighbor. It was freezing outside, so I told Abby to put on a coat. Well, Abby refuses to accept that we have winter weather in spring, so she wears her spring clothes and shoes with her winter coat and hat. Quite the fashion statement.
