What A Team!

Cheerful Lance.

Proud Dad.

Triumphant Teacher.

Overjoyed Mom.

Lance graduated from kindergarten today. Normally we would make fun of what a big deal the school made of moving from kindergarten to 1st grade, but we were really relieved and very proud of Lance. It felt so good to see him up there looking so confident and happy. He grew so much the last six months and went from being below grade level to being above grade level. We are so extremely proud of how hard Lance has worked and how disciplined he has become. His teacher couldn't say enough about how amazed she is by his progress. Great Job, we love you Lance!

Tubbs Hill

Last Friday I had the opportunity to go with Abby and her class on their last field trip this school year. We took a 10 min. walk from her school to Tubb's Hill, a hiking hill that is right on the lake. It was so beautiful - the whole trail overlooked the lake. We did a scavenger hunt as we hiked and end up at a park for a picnic. It was such a good time!!!

The Greatest Show on Earth

Lance's kindergarten class performed the greatest show on earth for us. It was such an adorably silly circus. Lance got to be a lion and a seal. He was so excited to perform for us and he did such a great job.

Silverwood

We bought season passes to Silverwood and went for the first time last Saturday. Our friends joined us and we had such a blast.

Abby loves Soccer

Just a couple of pics from Abby's last soccer game. She started the season pretty awkward, but by the last game she was pretty agressive and not afraid to get in there. She almost scored two goals during the last game. Rob coached her team and did a great job. They only lost 3 games. She was playing goalie when I took these pictures.

"Wow, everything is so clear"

Abby was to so excited to get her new glasses. I took her the the eye doctor because she said she was having a hard time seeing the white board in class. It turns out she was 20/50 in both eyes. Poor Abby thought the world was a big blur. She tells us, "Everything is sooooo much clearer".

Super Sneaky Sydnie

One second she was there...

The next Sydnie was missing and so was the box of chocolates. I saw some movement under a table, so I lifted the table cloth and found Sydnie with a very guilty look on her face.
